It met all expectations. I use macbook power, HDMI, 2.4GHz mouse, lamp power and data transfer to TimeMachine backup hard drive (transfer a bit slower, definitely not recommended for fast transfers to external drives).

It overheats very much practically whenever it is under power even without the macbook plugged in - I use it stuck to the back of the monitor and I'm afraid that it will overheat, as the overheating is really constant, I've been using it for 5 months and so far I don't think this is a threat
Too short cable
It is important to note that it is quite weak and cannot handle some extreme data traffic
A well-made port hub that perfectly covered my needs (HDMI + RJ45 + USB ports, 100W charging), so I am very satisfied. I wouldn't expect poor quality work from TP-Link. In addition, the hub is available at a very reasonable price.
