I bought this socket for testing and "playing" with Home Assistant.
The socket works great and feels very good to the touch. The only criticism is the need for an app account on Tapo devices (due to firmware updates and socket settings) and Wi-Fi instability: - Aside from the need for an account, the app itself is nicely done. - Through 1~2 walls, the socket connects for about a minute or two, so if you're making a smart home, either closer to the "wifi" or buy some AP.
