I don’t really have any serious complaints about the device itself. My only regret is the very unfortunate way in which Alza is using a discount to entice people to buy – the scrappage scheme. If they want to offer a discount, they should factor it straight into the purchase price. I bought the item at an inflated price, on the understanding that I’d get a bit of money back for what was a fairly expensive piece of kit. Alza’s partner company, which is supposed to handle this, just gave me the cold shoulder, so next time I’ll think very carefully about where I buy my goods – and it certainly won’t be from Alza. You’re just giving yourselves a bad name by choosing dubious business partners.
