I upgraded from dual-band EAP245s, so I had to place them on the wall where my cabling is routed. So far, it doesn't seem to be affecting coverage.
with new laptops or phones, it's a whopping 900+ Mbps even on a 1Gbit cable.
can also do 2.5Gbit LAN
PoE
Omada - with OC200 I manage everything in one place
multiple SSIDs for use with VLANs
roaming between APs
. and a bunch of other things
old EAP245 are much nicer in design
completely different bolt spacing on the plate; WHY?!?!
price

Finally, I got the Zyxel NWA130BE. They have the same features and performance, but the TP-Link, if not on the ceiling, the signal strength and quality around it is worse. With TP-Link, I like the administration interface much better. The placement of the port for the Ethernet cable was invented by some genius.
Simple and clear administration
Supports 8 SSIDs per frequency band and VLAN assignment
Administration locally via the web or the possibility to be included in the tp-link cloud
Compared to the Zyxel NWA130BE, it behaves more directionally, so ideally mounting really only on the ceiling in the room
The RJ-45 port is very close to the AP body - you can only stick a cable in there without or with a very subtle connector sleeve
