I have all three satellites connected on cable, amazing speed
Excellent coverage of a large apartment in a reinforced concrete house, where the modem/router alone was not really enough
By default it works as a router (i.e. NAT and DHCP), but can be switched to access point mode where it just does wifi for existing infrastructure
Only two radios for 2.4 and 5 GHz, no dedicated backbone wifi -- but that's not a negative if all satellites are on ethernet
Satellites are always slightly warm (I estimate 45-50 degrees Celsius)
By default "fast roaming" is not enabled, which is the main advantage of mesh wifi
I couldn't connect my Sony Bravia Android TV to the wifi, probably it is bothered by the fast roaming, but luckily it works on the cable from one satellite. (PlayStation had no problem. )
For 2 years our internet was not working properly in our apartment and the provider couldn't help us and claimed that Android doesn't get along with Apple. I installed this device within 10 minutes and everything works amazingly!
