I bought it because I wanted to replace my older WR840N, which barely had the range I needed (over 2 brick walls, about 15m as the crow flies). It often dropped out at this distance and the signal was weak.
I was tempted by the fact that this Archer has good reviews, "Beamforming" etc., but the range and stability in the same location is exactly the same as the old router. So in my case there is absolutely no improvement and if you want to get it to get a better signal, I definitely don't recommend it.
