Since I also have cameras from this overrated brand, it is almost a tragicomedy to put these cameras back into service. Resetting is under the covers and disassembly on site is almost impossible, due to loss of cover and very poor access. I had to reconfigure several cameras and a bunch of different wireless peripherals, like temperature sensors, because of this crap. It took me half a day. I'll throw TP LINK out of the house when I can. This router doesn't even have better coverage, rather worse than the crap from ZTE. But the description of this device exudes such optimism that I really expected much more. Those four antennas are just for show. The router from ZTE has two and hidden. Yet the coverage is the same, if not better.

The antennas are extremely fragile
It's heating. Nice in winter, but in summer it makes the router unusable.
connecting to 2.4 Ghz is terribly unstable and usually disconnects you when it needs the wifi to just work.
The range is very lousy for the price (and compared to what they show on the box. )
A significantly cheaper (and also stupider) router of the same brand works surprisingly much better.

It's not the router, it's the heater. Without ballast, it reaches up to 40°C over the entire surface.
The "corresponding" consumption is 11W without active operation.
