TL; DR: If you're really after a large, flexible lamp, this is the one for you, but I recommend getting a metal holder, e.g.: microphone hand clips. For me, the best lamp for a desk that has a monitor island - or if I don't want a lamp in the middle of the monitor, this is it. One part of the hand is less than 40cm long. So it has a max. +-80cm in height when you stretch it.
Unfortunately, this is the beginning and the end of the positives. Colour during handling [installing the shade, moving the hand, etc. ] is peeling. I had to stretch the springs when putting them on, they were partially glued with paint. The paint on the body of the light has a rough surface here and there. From what? From the bubbles.
The sleeve bent after the bulb was installed. In other words, instead of the sleeve being in the middle of the "header", it goes a little off to the side. A minor detail that does no harm and does not reduce functionality. No one looks into the light anyway, but it's more indicative of the manufacturers' philosophy. Like other similar products from this manufacturer (TopLight), this lamp also has a "plastic foot".
More precisely, it consists of a PLASTIC base into which the lamp is inserted. A metal hook is then inserted into the same base, on which a PLASTIC paw with a PLASTIC tightening wheel is screwed. This paw then holds the lamp from underneath the table. The choice of material for the MOST critical part of the lamp makes my head spin. The advantage of the plastic base is that it looks like it can probably be mounted on the wall and it even holds on the table. Personally, it seems to me that they invented the lamp in the manner of "Chinese seller 1# has cheap hands, Chinese seller 2# has cheap sockets with cable etc. - let's make a lamp! “. Because of the flaking paint, I think the lamps then get built and then lie fallow until some jerk like me decides to buy one, then they quickly paint one piece and it's no longer their concern. When I bought the lamp, it cost 777, - CZK, at the time of writing this review it costs 1 145, - CZK. I wouldn't really pay that much for this lamp, despite my specific criteria.
The lamp is lamplighting
