Sturdy, made of solid heavy metal
Looks pretty good.
The "altimeter" on the front is (as expected) painted on (i.e. behind the real slide), including the "hand"
Alza wants quite a lot of money for it, the price/performance ratio is questionable (but it can be bought elsewhere cheaper)
It's relatively wide and low, so the pencils stick out in a somewhat untidy manner on all sides
