The price is proportional to the performance and quality of workmanship, definitely worth the extra cost if you are considering the Logitech- G29. I'd take the frequent comments about the smell of burnt plastic with a grain of salt, some people don't seem to understand that when the steering wheel is freshly in use it's understandable that the plastic will smell a bit at first (after 3 weeks I can't smell anything from the steering wheel anymore: ) ).
The only thing that annoys me is that sorry ***** screw that the user has to screw through the plastic when putting on the steering wheel rim, who owns the steering wheel knows what I'm writing about, the crucial thing is that the screw absolutely does not have to be screwed in! except that after a while, it's gonna wear out and make scars all over the thread.
My first steering wheel and transition from gamepad / keyboard. I expected that it would be a change for the better but it is much much better, so I am extremely satisfied. Even when I unpacked the steering wheel, I was surprised by how difficult and durable everything is, this feeling of quality persists even when playing. The feedback and accuracy is amazing and I enjoy games like Assetto Corza Competizione, F1 2021 or Dirt 2.0 to the fullest. What I would point out is the power of the FFB but at the same time fluency and I also like the metal paddles. I was still considering the T300 RS version because it was cheaper with 2 pedals, I sometimes ride the clutch in Beam NG Drive, so I prefer to choose the GT version, where there are 3 pedals, in addition to the beautiful metal design.
