It was probably a defective piece - any attempt to work in the EPG was followed by a restart of the device, even after a factory reset it did not improve.
Furthermore, the ergonomics and any kind of control are absolutely disastrous.
It can't even read media that other stb's can (its own hasn't been tested due to an error in the EPG).
