Beutalni. Tight. I've been reading it forever with endless interruptions. You don't want to read any further and at the same time you need to know what happens next. Klabouchova is mercilessly raw, describing in minute detail the course of executions and the life of those condemned by the regime waiting to be executed in absolutely inhuman conditions. A great story about human bravery, Czech nature and sadism of the people who came to power, a view of genocide from the side of people for whom it is just a job without emotions, a great storyline. This book is not for everyone, you will hate it and love it at the same time. Weaker characters will not finish it, but it is definitely worth it. All of Klabouch's books are the same in this respect. Fantastic and brutal in absolutely the same measure.
