The chapter "The Worm" is captivating and a real page-turner. It's also the only chapter where you feel like you're continuing to read the Eragon saga.
They could have left the Witches chapter out of the book. I recommend skipping it.
The books are a continuation of the Eragon saga, which you need to bear in mind. To a reader unfamiliar with it, it will seem strange, incomplete, and out of context, and would probably put them off reading the saga.
