I was considering returning it. It measures nicely and that's the main thing, but the display is awful for the money. Feels plasticky.

The display is dreadful! The viewing angles are tragic. You can't see anything at all from above, and it's not much better from the bottom or sides.
The permanent backlight for the main/internal unit is ONLY possible when powered from the mains, not with 3 AAA batteries! Watch out for that. And without the backlight, you can see absolutely nothing at any time of day.
