I have had a weather station at home for almost two years. I've had one meter go out in that time. I've also noticed that it always shows slightly lower temperatures than reality (well, I'm comparing it to a mercury thermometer, which I consider accurate). The difference between the thermometers is always at least 2 degrees, sometimes 4 (it always shows a higher temperature). In the bitter cold, the difference was as much as 6 degrees.

Somewhere in a 2-bedroom or studio apartment would probably work. I can't imagine the functionality of a larger apartment or house. The app is functional, but probably has no business in this century. Anything plastic from a Chinese curfew has a better chance of surviving in this world than the sensors in this kit. I wouldn't buy it again. It's not a smart solution. It's just a thermometer base that in its closed system transfers data to a mobile app that has such a crappy display that you lose the desire to track any history. This would have been bad even 15 years ago. HW and especially SW.
