I've replaced other thermostatic heads and they work great for the price. I just had a problem with pairing for a while, but then it caught on, the app is bad at guiding. Otherwise, it makes sense that it shows a completely different temperature at the heater, given that it has a sensor right next to the hot heater. The correction can be set via the app. There's about a 4°C difference, but it's probably a household to household difference.

Well, look out. This will be the most comprehensive review. You won't find another one on the internet. I really tried to go by some experience but it's obvious that not many people are buying this product. This is largely due to the limited imagination of the Chinese manufacturer. There are a lot of things you have to try and observe and adjust your heating plan. This valve is sold for a comparable price on Aliexpress but it just doesn't have the brand name - Tesla. It's the Tuya ecosystem, so in addition to the Tesla Smart app, it also works on the Tuya app (and that's supposedly compatible with Samsung's SmartThing but I haven't tried it yet). I bought 3 valves together with Tesla Smart Hub because the condition was to control the heating remotely via the app. I have an M30x1.5 valve installed in my apartment so there was no problem with that. The manual is pretty straightforward and concise, who doesn't have experience with similar technologies - it doesn't pair well the first time. But it finally succeeded, even with the Tesla Smart App itself. Everything you can set on the valve can also be set directly in the app. Even program the valve. And now the bottom line. A frequent stumbling block is increasing the temperature in the room. I have noticed that many people grumble that the valve is slow to open or not at all. If your room is 19 degrees with a cold radiator and you set it to 21, two things will happen. The valve will open slowly and sooner or later the heating will occur, but the moment the temperature around the valve reaches 21 degrees, the valve will close again. Even though this temperature is NOT in the room. If you want to heat the whole room - you need to step up to a higher power, t. j. set to at least 24-26 degrees and only then will the valve open more and more heat exchange between the radiator and the room environment occur. So if you just leave it at 2 - 3 degrees more - yes, it will warm up the room, but sometimes it takes half a day. It is better to set the warming to about 4-6 degrees more for half an hour and then after some time to lower it to the desired temperature. If you take this fact into account - the valve can be nicely programmed to do this. So I managed to do it this way and it seems to be working as I +/- wanted for 3 days now. More pros and cons below.
price
many functions, equipment, backlit display
really quiet running engine. sometimes a problem to hear if it has opened or not.
intuitive application. so if you successfully pass the Smart Hub pairing... Then it's easy.
I haven't had a chance to check it yet but battery life +/- 1 year would be fine
savings on heating. The proclaimed 30% is probably an utopia but there will be some savings.
easy installation on the supported valve. automatic calibration and subsequent pairing. easy.
open window detection function - does not work. It just doesn't work. You can also freeze when the window is open and the valve does not react to this. It is still necessary to think how the detection could occur if there is no error on the firmware side.
From time to time, the connection to the entire "smart solution" drops out. Devices are reported as Offline. In one case I noticed that it was my WiFina, it just restarted. In another case, I don't know, Wifina was going and the devices were offline. However, this is temporary and after a few minutes everything is back online. It occurs about 2-3 times a day.
The Smart Hub's WiFi does not operate on 5GHz frequencies but only on 2.4. During the pairing process, you need to have the mobile phone with the app on the same wifine.
Country of origin. I'm curious how long this can work and if it will last.
slight problems with the app. Programming mode and calendar for the whole week. That part of the app is a little off. But you will learn.

in my case of installation on the heater in a prefabricated house the head holds very well and firmly on the heater
nice backlit display
very quiet operation
long claimed endurance, however I have not had the opportunity to test and verify this
the supplied instructions have several inconsistencies
the head was not registering my open window
Timer in Mon to Fri+Sat+Sun mode does not copy the set time modes and if I set them manually, after a while Sat and Sun disappear and Mon to Sun mode is active
although the app is in English, there are several items without English translation
sometimes the head unit showed as Device offline (from home on Wifi, but also outside the home - phone data)
