The fryer is fit for purpose. It quickly preheats to the desired temperature, and the food is then also quickly prepared. Unfortunately, I don't understand who thought up what plastic to use for processing. After wiping with a paper towel, webbed abrasions remained in the control section. So the fryer lasted a nice shiny 20 minutes or so until the first cleaning.
