The pot is tall, it fits on a smaller stove. However, I'm used to a solid lid, this one is made of flexible sheet metal and the pressure of the lever actually closes the pot. I doubt the lid will last long with this bending. The steam leak pistons are tiny plastic, this also raises doubts as to how long it will be functional even with some small spring inside. For an old person, this pot is probably completely unsuitable, because closing the lid requires a lot of force. At the same time, if you're in a hurry and want to blow off steam quickly, you'd better wear an asbestos glove

The top closure "eats up" a lot of space from the pot and is problematic even with an empty pot (let alone a full one), while the materials look cheap considering the price and with only very occasional use it would probably be fine for the price, but for regular use it is not worth saving and it is better to pay extra.
