I don't know if it's just bad luck on a few defective pieces or a whole bad batch, but this tempera doesn't cover at all, it looks more like there's dispersion glue in the tube and no filler.
The white note in the picture is painted with one coat of some old tempera that we're out of. The brownish note is painted with one good coat of this rated tempera, both cut from the same cardboard.
The paint doesn't cover at all, I don't recommend it.
