The width of the protective glass is narrower than the width of the display! (And I don't mean the width of the phone's glass, I really mean the display itself as a display area. I would probably be too demanding if I expected the protective glass to completely cover the entire glass of the phone. )
It doesn't cover the entire display.
It looks distracting and unnatural on the display.
It spoils the look of the whole phone.
The above also affects the distortion of the image at the edges.
