To start, you press 100C, or you have to click through to the desired temperature - the first press selects the lowest temperature and the next press a degree higher. You must repeat the next time you run it. But it's all about habit and I wouldn't want another kettle.

The smell of plastic after almost two years of use. I don't know if they changed it in the new model. After playing water if you go into the kitchen you can smell the plastic. I don't recommend it. I'm gonna buy another one.
