We liked the fryer, it is really great and I would say it can replace a standard oven. The only downside is smaller fries or generally smaller foods falling through the grid. These do not come out very well after the end of the frying programme, as the grid is very hot. This can be solved either with some kind of silicone bowl for the fryer or, as we did, with a silicone mat that can be placed on the grid. The mesh for sinking is then significantly smaller. However - this is not included in the delivery and needs to be provided separately.

Very quick preparation of meat, very juicy meat. the metal grid is quite heavy and we are a little worried that over time it will scratch when inserting the non-stick inner edges. We have 2 years experience with the 3x smaller one from Tefal and due to satisfaction we purchased the larger one.
