I wanted a normal, not too demanding laptop with an Ethernet port without paying an extra 8-9k for performance I really don't need. Plus, I wanted a metal construction because I have a bad experience with plastic laptops. Acer is out of plastic, HP has decided to remove Ethernet from their cheaper laptops, so that leaves this newcomer. Was it worth it? No. Most things are good, but they really didn't think the display through. I had to return the first piece because it had a big light spot on the left, and the second piece has small light spots on the bottom with a black background. Normally it takes about a year or two (if not more) before it even appears, here it took less than a month.

it has Ethernet and even microSD (I haven't tried), plus a fingerprint reader (I don't use it)

seriously poorly designed, too thin display that easily damages the backlight

USB-A ports are quite scratchy (need to use a bit more force to plug in)
The power LED illuminates the secondary USB-PD port when there is no cable (my autistic brain doesn't give it away)
someone had a great idea to show an annoying screen on power up when secure boot is done (I thought smartphones were for annoying features? though what to expect from a smartphone maker who said he'd try laptops)
