After 4 years with Netatmo heads, which I was not satisfied with long term, I decided to go with Tado. Netatmo suffered from anomalies in the opening of the heads and especially often reported low batteries and in this state the heads always opened to the maximum, so when the person was not at home, Netatmo heated his apartment to 30 ° C, great. Tado has almost one heating season behind it and so far maximum satisfaction, it does not suffer from anything that Netatmo suffered from, it has a multiply faster reaction to opening the window, the heads are quiet, they can run on Enelop batteries, all heads can measure humidity (non-BASIC heads can also measure the air quality in the room). I find the Tado app also better than the Netatmo one, more modern UI, nice charts, easy setup, but some may lack English. The downside is that some features like Geofencing or turning off the heater when you open a window are subscription-based, if you don't have a subscription a notification pops up on your phone and you have to manually click off/on the heater, if you have a subscription the app does it automatically. Compared to the Netatmo, I miss the e-ink display on the heads, that was good. Overall, I am satisfied and even though the replacement cost me a lot of money, it was a good investment.
