the camera cover overlaps the rest of the packaging, so the phone is hanging when lying on a flat pad, but compared to how the phone is hanging without the cover it is negligible
Magsafe holds and is inserted from the inside of the cover and embedded in the plastic. It's not just stuck on from the top. So there is no risk that the ring will come off and the phone will fall.
The rubber on the edges is just right, it does not crumple and does not creep off the finish. I have been using it for a few months and it looks like the first day. ( black paint )
