The power supply is silent, but the fan in it is running/vibrating, so even at low speeds you will know about it, especially if it is in a cabinet placed on the table (which is probably common in ITX). Unlike the first revision, the fan does not turn off, so this ticking will be felt regardless of the load.
The fan to the MB is short, but in an ITX case it should not be a problem. It will just be harder to manage the cable, which will be helped by the fact that it is a relatively wide cable.

I purchased the power supply primarily because of the SFX-L size
Silverstone quality (OEM Sirfa/High Power platform), even on the surface the SX500 looks very high quality

So far in the current installation completely without problems
Purchased version 2.0 is no longer semi-fanless (version 1.0 was able to turn off the fan completely at low load), but thanks to the large and quiet fan it does not matter
The number of PCI-e (1x) and SATA-III (1x) connectors may be insufficient for some applications
Price - but if I need performance and quality in a small package, I'll gladly pay it in this case
