The integration with HA is flawless, and the Bluetooth connectivity is stable and trouble-free. Ideal for the Better thermostat. But the body is only attached to the rest of the assembly—which is fixed to the valve—by a twist-lock mechanism, so if you don’t know how to turn it, the head will just come off in your hand. The temperature display is brilliant, and so is the calibration button. The motor isn't particularly powerful, so I'd recommend lubricating the valve. But I don’t regret buying it; it definitely works better than Netatmo. And when combined with the home climate panel, it really is a stylish solution. Especially for a good price.

The fact that it stopped working after 12 hours was perhaps a defect of this piece only. But even aside from the fact that it broke, it's not a good product. And I didn't think the neighborhood was good either. If I don't turn on the GPS it refuses to communicate via Bluetooth, which makes no sense. An app that requires permissions that it doesn't objectively need to use is always a red exclamation point for me, because either it's written by someone who doesn't know what they're doing and then there's a risk that it's not secure, or they're stealing and selling the data.
