Every now and then a thought will occur that doesn't correspond to reality, such as wanting to turn on the TV at six in the morning. Fortunately, it's not common.
We have an older model Sony Bravia TV at home and lately it has been terribly slow. We watch practically only Netflix, HBO Max and Prime and when trying to turn on anything from these platforms one had to wait long minutes before the app just loaded, then everything "jerked" just when moving in the menu and when trying to turn on a movie/series everything took a long time to load, sometimes after waiting nothing even turned on and the TV went back to the main menu. But the TV runs briskly when disconnected from the internet. So it's not "old and slow", but it's probably slowed down by something from the last update. So I didn't want to buy a new TV when this one "works". I was looking for alternatives and found out that there is something called a multimedia center. I was looking for something that could connect to the internet with a cable and this model caught my eye both for the price and the many good reviews. Everything works very simply. You connect the box to the electricity, connect the included HDMI cable to the TV, connect to the internet (cable or wifi) and everything actually sets itself up. It will ask you on which platforms (HBO, Netflix. ) you have accounts, the apps download straight away, you log in and you can watch. After the first run, the sound was, as some have written in reviews, very quiet. Our TV has a volume range from 1 to 100, normally we have a volume of around 15 and that's plenty. Here I had to put the sound somewhere near 80 to be understood. However, the device asked for an update after about 20 minutes of booting. Downloaded the update (about 700MB) and the sound is working normally now. We don't watch normal TV channels, but a nice bonus for some may be a basic package of TV programs on the sledovaniTV platform for free for 3 months.
