The Stanley flat grinder (Stanley Black & Decker manufacture) seems to me to be of good quality in the price/performance ratio. Although it is not as high quality as e.g. Bosch, but I hope he gets the job done. My original Einhell hobby grinder lasted 7 years (the tension roller broke after prolonged thermal stress).

the pressure of the tension pulley of the sanding belt is just right, the belt would not have to tear as often as with other sanders I have used in the past where the tension pulley pressure was much higher
the same diameter of the drive roller and tension roller, the belt would not have to tear so often (some grinders have a diameter of the tension roller too small and the grinding belt is thus much more stressed on bending and usually breaks after a while)
possibility to change the speed (belt speed)

the aluminium casting of the grinding machine structure is not protected by steel spacers in the place of the rotating belt (only small aluminium castings), theoretically the aluminium casting could be punctured if the grinding belt is not aligned properly, on the other hand there is about 1cm space between the belt and the casting.
