Solid slide, no platinum crap. With the applicator it fits absolutely precisely, first time. I appreciate the two slides in the package - although it is a little more expensive to purchase but I have the opportunity to "fix" or save the phone with a new slide in the future, when this model may cease production.
I already have the second of this glass in 4 months, it doesn't last a thing, every time it cracks at the edge and the crack spreads all over the glass. I watch my phone.
With the original Google cover, the phone doesn't look very good. The cover has low edges, so the glass is at the level of the cover, almost higher. Holt it will still want a Spigen cover, which is higher and wider, so the gap around the edges disappears.
It cracked after 2 weeks. I understand that breaking the protective glass actually protects the display, but I' m not aware of any major damage. I wouldn' t choose this glass next time, it' s not very scratch or crack resistant.
