If you don't insist on perfect sound, then that's enough for some basic sound system. Just don't expect the performance claimed by the manufacturer, but one that can be inferred from the size of the box. I had a piece that rattled at higher volume - perhaps it was just a piece defect. However, I returned the box and bought a more expensive one with significantly better sound.
