I was debating whether to get a JBL or this Soundcore Boom 2 and I'm glad I chose this one because for the price, what it offers is just brilliant. I recommend it to everyone who wants a great-sounding speaker mainly for outdoors that's also quite portable, and even for quiet listening at home.

I compared Soundcore Boom 2 (bought for 3033 CZK) and JBL Charge 6 (bought for 4320 CZK). Most of the time I compared without using the equalizer. I currently have the mids up on the Soundcore, and the bass up on the JBL. Here is a subjective summary of which speaker sounded better to me: music like Divokej Bill, Kabat, Tomas Klus, rap etc. - JBL (but they don't sound "1.3k better", let alone 2k better). EDM - definitely Soundcore Boom 2. Metal - here it's about the same, but personally I liked the sound of Soundcore Boom 2 better. Otherwise, Soundcore Boom 2 is quite boomy, especially with BASS UP on - a plus for some music, but a big minus for others. The coloring does look nice, but it seems like a very unnecessary feature.
