I have had the same headphones for about 5 years. I was extremely happy with them. They just lose volume over time. However, I figured I could buy the same ones and they would definitely be better. I unpacked them excitedly from the box and the first thing that caught my eye was the thinner cable. I say aha. Good. They made a change. I plug it in, put it in my ears, turn on the music and at that moment I felt like I was in a Vietnamese shop. Terrible sound. The older EX15LPs sound like Harman Kardon compared to this. There is not even a hint of bass in the new ones. The sound is completely flat and reminiscent of listening from a yoghurt cup. Unfortunately, those who want a replacement for the old EX15LP will be disappointed.

I'm used to these headphones. I've been buying them for years. A lot depends on what piece you come across. Sometimes they go away in a month and sometimes they can last for years of unpleasant treatment. the last ones I bought lasted until now (about 4 years) but I lost the rubber plug so I bought new ones. I like the sound I'm used to it, especially when your MP3 includes a bass enhancer.
