The Alpha A68 uses 79 phase-detect AF points with 15 centrally-located cross-type points for greater precision. This innovative focus particularly excels in capturing moving objects. It can produce images continuously at up to 8fps while shooting, or record Full HD video with a bitrate of 50Mbps - and that is just the beginning!
The large Exmor CMOS sensor produces high-resolution images and delicate tonal gradation. The BIONZ X processor features advanced image reproduction technology to process an enormous amount of data from the sensor with minimal noise and great results even with poor light quality, and a wide sensitivity range of up to ISO 25600.
The OLED Tru-Finder offers 100% coverage with a wider colour range, true colour reproduction and rich tonal gradation, so you can take pictures exactly as you see them. The tiltable screen design allows you to easily tilt the display on both sides, so you will be able to comfortably take photos over the heads of people in a crowd or on the ground.
Assign frequently used functions to the customisable buttons of your choice. You can assign 11 buttons to activate any of a selection of 49 functions for a faster, more intuitive operation that meets your needs. The rear control wheel allows for fast and intuitive changes to the camera's settings, without taking your eyes away from the viewfinder.
The Alpha A68 camera captures realistic images, reduces blurring, and ensures the fine rendering of evenly coloured surfaces (such as the sky). With the 4D Focus feature, you will also be able to focus on subjects that are not in the middle of the image.
