Seamless pairing with ZigBee gateway (Seeed SkyConnect Home assistant USB).
Sufficient range (throughout the house, even without the help of powered ZigBee devices)
It's a reasonably priced temperature sensor. I'm not paying for a display I don't need (I have Home Assistant for that). I don't use humidity measurement now, but it may come in handy in time.

I have 4 of these sensors in my apartment, bought at intervals, connected via ConBee II and ZHA to Home Assistant. In this configuration, they have all been working for me without problems for many months, they don't disconnect, they send data after every measurable change. When brought to a single location, it measures the humidity with a variance of about 0.5 °C apart, with a variance of about 5 %. I can't judge the compatibility with third party gateways and I have a feeling that the low rating comes from that. Beware, right here on Alza they sell versions with and without a battery and they are available in different ways, so don't give minuses unnecessarily.
