Despite the metal arms, it is the critical joints that are made of grey plastic. The designer deserves an earful for this. One star down for that.

If you've got your lamp cranked like I do. side by side, which is not entirely practical. flat against each other, so the phone is laid sideways to you, which is not entirely practical. But I understand that others may have the lapma placed more to the side
Inability to rotate the lamp sideways, which would solve the previous small negative
