The dispenser is noisier and has trouble dispensing thicker soap (specifically AlzaEco liquid soap), even when I dilute it a bit with water. The foaming function did not work. Only a few bubbles always came out of the dispenser and I had to use it repeatedly (like 4 times) to get enough soap in my palm.
After two months, the batteries died, which is very little compared to another dispenser I had before. It lasted almost a whole year on four pencil batteries.
We have had the dispenser at home for about 3 weeks now and it works great. The only minor drawback is the top button, it is very sensitive and controls all functions. For example, if you go to wash the bathroom and run a rag over it, you can accidentally turn it off or change the dosage value. However, it's nothing fundamental at all. If you want to have perfect foam, I can highly recommend the product ''ISOLDA Foaming Soap'' which can also be bought here on Alza. You don't have to dilute it and just pour it into the dispenser. The 5l container will definitely last you for a while, plus it has a lovely scent (Violet). As for battery life, after about 3 weeks it still works great, so I'm curious myself after what time the batteries need to be changed. - Remark. If you scroll down to the product description, don't be fooled by the charger shown. This model is not rechargeable and requires the purchase of 4 batteries (AA).
