I wanted to learn to play and I didn't quite know what to expect from this instrument. I was pleasantly surprised by the solidity and nice smooth surface of the instrument, as well as the nice appearance. After a while of trying to get the notes out, it started to tear my ears apart, even though I suffer from severe musical deafness. I pulled out the tuning fork and found that the tuning was completely off (even if we're talking about the lower octave and just whole notes). G4. The C4's fit together just fine, but the C3 and F3 are completely out of tune, not to mention the halftones. It was probably a mistake to expect him to play reasonably for the price.
