So I purchased this quiet and efficient cooler for a compatible intel socket, but unfortunately it didn't fit my motherboard. Therefore, I would like to warn potential buyers to check before purchasing this cooler that the original backplate is indeed attached to the motherboard with only 4 screws just like the backplate supplied with this cooler. The backplate to the motherboard I wanted to install this cooler on had a total of 7 screws. 4 external for mounting the heat sink and 3 internal for mounting the metal structure around the socket. Thus this backplate with 4 screws could not be used, as the metal structure with the lever to secure the CPU would have nowhere to screw in. Specifically, the LGA 1150 socket and the Intel Core i7-4770K processor. Even on the manufacturer's official website they write that compatibility is ok with this socket, which is not true in my case.

One of the two screws that push the heatsink to the CPU has a bad thread, so the heatsink does not hold. I can go to Alza for a second/other cooler. 🤬
