We struggled a bit with how to blow the bag, but then it worked perfectly. For others: the vacuum hose must be attached and squeezed several times in succession to create sufficient vacuum to open the valve.

Reusable is perfect because ecologically it is bad to vacuum bags that are then thrown in the trash. Fits a bunch of stuff, zippers hold perfectly. I didn't know what to do with the valve, because I couldn't get the bag to seize. Invariably, the vacuum device would shut down, indicating that it had reached vacuum, even though the valve had not even opened yet. I always have to turn it on a few times before the valve opens and the suction starts.
