After reading the reviews here, I was a little hesitant, especially under the impression of one where it was written that after pouring hot liquid, the thermos gets strongly heated. This rather points to a defect in the particular piece. After delivery I poured 1l of boiling water into the thermos and the next day (at an ambient temperature of 24 degrees) after about 18 hours the water was still warm at an estimated 40 - 45 degrees. I think it's a really good buy for the price.
