In reviews, it is often repeated that the fan has a loud beeping sound when switching speeds and that the speed setting only goes 1-9 and back to 1 (i.e. around and around). The beeping is not really loud, the volume is like pressing a button on a microwave. And the speed adjustment around is really there like that, but only on the fan itself, since there is a controller for the fan where you can switch any way you want, I don't see this as a problem, I use the control on the fan itself minimally and I think most people will have it that way. The only minus is that if the fan is plugged in, but not turned on, it doesn't shrink the display, but that's really a small thing. I definitely recommend it!

brightly illuminated zero when the fan is switched off - completely illogical in a night room - if the work ends e.g. with a timer, suddenly the room brightens. For the next generation, it would be better to address the signal that it is powered with a subtle red light
the remote control works in a narrow beam, it really has to be aimed correctly at the receiver in the fan
