The scale is quite small so placing a larger bowl on it will be difficult, as with most scales of this type it cannot be switched off, you have to wait for it to switch itself off. I wouldn't describe the controls as intuitive either. Otherwise, so far, it's working as it should.
What a tragedy, people! Don't buy it, it's money out the window! The scale may work a little, but after about two days it will say LO as low battery so you replace it and the same problem again! When you weigh something that cannot be removed (e.g. cottage cheese) so it happens to me that the scale switches itself off all of a sudden! So I don't actually know how much I had in there! DO NOT BUY
