It cools about 20m2, that's why I bought it. I don't understand those complaining about the pipe, it's ok. Just a plastic pipe like 80% of air conditioners have.
Night mode does nothing, it just reduces the fan speed to Low. Before switching on the air conditioner shows 24° after a short time of operation and switching off the air conditioner shows 29°
I would probably go for another brand next time, my brother has an ETA air conditioner with 7000 btu and it can cool better and is quiet compared to this. The only advantage is that this air conditioner has an app.
