We are very pleased with the washing machine. It looks great, washes brilliantly, has a large drum capacity, is pleasantly quiet, the controls are intuitive, and the build quality is high. It is a joy to have such a washing machine.

It washes excellently

If you are stacking your appliances ("dryer on top of washer"), be very careful with Alza's services. On Alza, I bought a SIEMENS WG56B2A2CS iQ700 washing machine, a SIEMENS WR47B2C0CS iQ700 tumble dryer and the corresponding SIEMENS WZ28000 stacking kit with a pull-out shelf (note: when choosing a stacking kit, the dryer's product sheet is the deciding factor. The washing machine sheet usually only states that it allows for a stacking kit to be attached). Along with buying the washing machine and dryer (in one basket), I ordered Alza's "complete delivery up to the flat" for 699 Kč, which includes "appliance installation" in the price. However, you only find out upon arrival that none of the small private couriers contracted by Alza will screw the stacking kit onto the washing machine under any circumstances (they are not trained for it and are afraid of paying Alza for any potential damage) and consequently will not put the heavy dryer on top of the washing machine! So, the dryer and stacking kit were left in my hallway.
After contacting Alza by phone to resolve this, they offered to send another team (apparently one that handles built-in appliances) some other day. However, they won't even give you a rough choice of dates. And most importantly, as they said, even this team will under no circumstances reverse the dryer door hinge from right to left for you, they are not trained for it......
Therefore, I recommend only having Alza deliver the washing machine and dryer (and stacking kit if applicable), unbox them, and take away the packaging. Perhaps just have them connect the washing machine and, if needed, take away the old appliance(s). I then arranged for Siemens service to assemble the stack and reverse the door hinges.
Note: The iQ700 washing machine has the hinge permanently on the left. The iQ700 dryer has the hinge on the right out of the factory. This is fine when installed on the floor, to the right of the washing machine, but is generally unsuitable for a stack, and in my case, with the left side of the stack against a wall, it was a complete nightmare. However, the door hinge on the iQ700 dryer (note: not on the iQ500) can be reversed by a professional service technician.
stacking option – using the SIEMENS WZ28000 stacking kit with pull-out shelf, the SIEMENS WR47B2C0CS iQ700 tumble dryer can be stacked on top of the washing machine
quiet during washing and spinning (surprisingly so when spinning)
it has a spin speed of 1,600rpm, so the laundry goes into the dryer drier
it absolutely doesn't shake during the spin cycle, the spinning is barely noticeable to the eye, the close proximity of the water tap is not an issue
automatic dispenser and the associated programme for even a single piece of laundry
possibility to add laundry during washing
one of the 2 automatic dispensers allows you to choose fabric softener or another laundry gel (even without Wi-Fi)
You can, of course, also throw the capsules into the drum, but the automatic dispenser is more economical and also more convenient
it includes a "manual" dispenser, allowing for a dose of powder – used for Ariel Ultra Oxi Effect right during the initial cleaning of the washing machine
you can easily use the washing machine even without Wi-Fi (using the Home Connect app on your mobile). The limitations are not major.
installing the WiFi Access Point also improved my mobile signal
You can download some additional washing programmes via WiFi control. Right now there is an option for "myTime" (customising the wash length to suit your schedule) and "sports shoes". We haven't used them yet, but "sports shoes" might come in handy in the future.
being able to scan the newly poured detergent with your phone is pretty cool
for some it might be an issue that the door hinge side on the washing machine cannot be reversed (it is fixed on the left)
Due to a weak signal from a distant router (on the opposite side of the flat) on the home WiFi (and vice versa, a weak signal from the washing machine to the router), I had to install a WiFi AccessPoint in the room next to the bathroom via a LAN cable – I preferred to create a new network with a new name (so the washing machine and tumble dryer wouldn't get confused).
By the time I find the app and it connects to the washing machine after launching (connection – over 2 seconds extra), I'm already at the machine. And remote control won't load or unload the laundry anyway 😉. From this point of view, the remote control seems useless to me.

Intelligent, it speeds up the wash itself if there's a small load.
The dress is quite dry already right after the wash.
it dispenses the washing powder itself
Home Connect and great integration into Home Assistant.

This is our second Siemens washing machine. The first one worked without a single fault for 20 years. Unfortunately, its first fault was also its last, so we had to quickly choose a new washing machine. We're still getting to know this one. We were convinced by the fact it has AquaStop, is sturdily built and has a lot of programmes. We hope it will last us at least as long as the first one.
