Definitely not suitable for outdoor use, the LEDs themselves are but the power supply connector is completely without moisture protection.
It's usb and has no power supply - the product description doesn't say anything like that
When the power is switched off and back on again, the lights will not start in the last selected mode - so cannot be used with a switch-on timer.
