From the pictures, this appears to have sturdy sides and decent carpet — this is false and deceptive. While the price was on the low to middle range, the quality of the materials was not worth the price and will soon be worn down / destroyed by cat claws. Recommend: Buy a cardboard box instead.

Cats like it; but then, cats liked the cardboard box just as much.
Deceptive: The “boxes” have no sides; instead cheap, easily torn stretch fabric must be pulled over the top and bottom particle-board pieces; if your cat has claws, it will last about 1 day.
Cheap materials: The post / colums are cardboard tubes (not wood) with plastic end-caps and the sissel rope is so thin it will not last long if your cats like to scratch. Ypu could always buy thicker rope and wrap the tubes, but…
Unstable: Poorly engineered — top-heavy without wide enough base and no “anti-tipping device. Cats must jump up to get to second level or top, and this cat house falls over, slides, etc.
