It blends well and I was using it a few times a week but, after about a month, the jug part broke. It is held to the main body by two small plastic pieces and one snapped off. I sent it back to Alza and they sent me a new one a couple weeks later. The second one was fine for two months and then it also broke in exactly the same way. At this point it's better just to hold it in place even if it can't lock properly. The jug is cheap plastic that will break.
