bought as a replacement for IKEA whisk, compared to IKEA this one is more powerful and therefore hopefully more powerful. My whisk was falling out of the IKEA (vacuum). Can't store vertically because the top is bulging too. The instructions did not describe how to open the battery compartment. It is a bayonet cap, there are two marks on the body (a comma and a dot), the top must be turned to the second position. It's not a very elegant solution. The button is sensitive, which will surprise some people when trying to pull out a whisk buried in a drawer. However, you have to hold the button while mixing, but it doesn't disturb and you squeeze it while gripping.

cannot be stored upright (no stand, cannot be stood upside down)
