If I just want to know the temperature (and humidity), that's ideal.
Non-intuitive control of other functions.
Why does it have an alarm clock? When a small son plays with it, then there is a risk of waking up at an unpleasant hour (and it is difficult to notice in advance)

I highly recommend it. We use it for tropical houseplants. Thanks to the relative accuracy, low price and nice design, it is not a problem to have more of them at home depending on the placement of more demanding plants: -) We have had it for two years and it still works great.
